In the late 1960s and 1970s, Lucas was a very known heroin distributor in Harlem, New York. What got him most of his notoriety during the time period was the fact that he was one of the best at being able to knock off the middleman and get the customers directly to the source from the supplier. You may even have heard of him and his story from the recent "American Gangster" film.
